Ned Rauch-Mannino, President

​Our firm principal, Ned Rauch-Mannino, provides geopolitical context and project guidance expertise having worked within markets worldwide and with a diverse portfolio of industry partners and priorities. A former Presidential appointee, he previously served as Deputy Assistant Secretary for Global Operations and Senior Advisor for Global Markets at the U.S. Department of Commerce. He co-chaired the White House's Prosper Africa initiative in addition to focusing on Middle East and Africa, Europe, and multilateral development bank affairs, and prior, led the U.S. Agency for International Development's first intergovernmental affairs office. These roles supported critical policy and development initiatives to increase competitiveness, market access, and supply chain resilience, and national and economic security. 

 

His experience includes strategic consulting for energy, environment, infrastructure, logistics, technology, agriculture, and economic development projects. Regularly contributing analysis and commentary on emerging markets and international development issues, he is also a visiting fellow with The Heritage Foundation and non-resident senior fellow with the Foreign Policy Research Institute, and assists energy tech entrepreneurs as an Energy Cohort Mentor with Tech Stars, the early-stage pre-seed investment hub.
